Hello Catherine, can you tell us a little about yourself and how you got into natural products?
Hello, I am honored and grateful to be part of the WishGarden family. Thank you for this recognition! I am a lover of natural remedies. For the past 15 years I have been researching herbs for nutrition and their medicinal properties to support my mental health. By volunteering with terminally ill patients and working on myself, I discovered such wonderful natural ways to help us heal that I had no choice but to dedicate my life to it.
I recently transitioned to full-time at my company, CLC Edition. I offer services in purchasing useful products, making infused topical and edible products, and I offer assistance in growing your own herbs. I discovered WishGarden three years ago when I was working at a spa. A massage therapist recommended Kick-Ass Immune when I was about to catch a cold and I’ve been hooked ever since. Of course, I now add WishGarden tinctures to my products for an extra herbal boost!
WishGarden has started an Ambassador Program that you are a part of – and you are the recipient of this month’s Ambassador of the Month Award. How is the ambassador work going?
Beautiful! I’ve been recommending these products for the past three years before I was an official ambassador, so recently it’s been pretty amazing now that I’m official. Getting a tour of the headquarters, one-on-one with the professionals, and the opportunity to host events is my wish come true! I’m excited and looking forward to the future events I will participate in!
It seems like you are quite active on the social media channels. Which do you find most effective for spreading ‘herbal news’?
I’m a visual person, so I love Instagram. I find this to be my most effective way to take photos/videos and spread the word.
Natural products seem to be all the rage these days. Do you think we are witnessing a change in consumer attitudes towards the environment and natural products?
I do. I witness the progress every day, especially when I talk about it with children. It is refreshing to see younger generations becoming more aware and active in their participation in a healthier future. I do my best to spread awareness and invite everyone to think about the products they buy and their impact on our environment.
What is your favorite herb and why?
That’s a really tough one, but I’d say: sage. Sage is one of my favorite herbs to find on the trails here in Colorado. Smelling and rubbing the fresh leaf immediately calms me down. I also love that it has so many beneficial and medicinal values.
Do you have a favorite WishGarden product?
Also a difficult one. I have to say it is related to Kick-ass Immune and Deep Stress. I like them both too much to choose one!
