Good morning,

Do you have trouble floating away and waking up at night and feeling slow? Supporting your body’s ability to produce melatonin is one of the best ways to fall asleep naturally.

Melatonin, often called the ‘sleep hormone’, is an important player in regulating our sleep-wake cycles. It indicates the body that it is time to rest and help us find the sweet spot between vigilance and deep, restorative sleep. With these strategies to get more sleep with natural melatonin, you go to sleep faster and you become more refreshed in the morning.

Get more sunlight during the day

Sunlight controls your circadian rhythm, the internal clock of the body. Natural light in natural light spend at least 20 to 30 minutes, especially in the morning, can send clear signals to your brain about when to wake up and when you have to sleep.

Later in the evening, the sunlight that you receive during the day can form the stage for a smoother transition asleep. If it goes outside is not an option, consider sitting near a clear, sunny window. You can also use a solar lamp if it is darker outside.

Upgrade your diet

Nutrition -rich food offers vitamins and minerals that support the body’s ability to produce melatonin. For example, cherries contain small amounts of melatonin, while nut -like almonds offer magnesium that promotes relaxation – an important step before you can drift.

Including these foods in meals or snacks during your day can lead to noticeable changes in how quickly you fall asleep at night.

Move your body regularly

Regular physical activity helps to regulate hormones that would otherwise disrupt your natural sleep patterns. Moderate intensity exercise, such as a brick walk, swimming or even yoga, can improve the production of melatonin.

Make sure that you make time for exercise earlier in the day, so that your body has enough time to relax, so that you remain calm and prepared for a relaxing sleep in the evening.

Reduce your exposure to EMF radiation

Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) come from devices such as smartphones, WiFi routers and even light bulbs. There is recently a growing consciousness of the Connection between EMF radiation and melatonin. It can disrupt the natural capacity of your body to produce the hormone.

Reduce your EMF exposure by switching off devices one hour before bedtime, using aircraft mode and keeping electronics out of the bedroom to help your body remain tailored to his sleep rhythms.

Implement a wind-down routine

Your body needs time to switch smoothly from energy -rich activities to a state of complete relaxation. Consider helping this process to create a consistent wind-down routine. This can include shortening the screen time by switching off devices one hour before bedtime, practicing relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing or soft stretching, or reading a calming book in dusk.

Feel more rested and charged

When it comes to better sleep, small changes can produce great results. Start by implementing these strategies to get more sleep with natural melatonin today and get ready to tackle what the day entails.
