How to make the most of your (Gong) Sound Bath experience?

How do you benefit most from a (Gong) Sound Bath Experience?

Come as you Are. It doesn’t matter if things are easy or just really hard right now, embrace everything as it is and give yourself this moment as an expression of your self-care. Buy all the wool socks, pillows and blankets you need to always feel pampered and cozy.

Just be. Sometimes this is so easy to say, but all you have to do is rest comfortably on a mat, close your eyes for a moment and receive. An eye covering can help you relax even more deeply.

Each Gong meditation is absolutely unique. Your body and senses can respond in different ways: you can relax deeply, get answers, see beautiful colors before your inner eye, everything is possible in a Sound Bath. Whatever is happening for you is most likely exactly what will take you to the next step on your personal journey.

Hydrate. Make sure you drink extra water after the Sound Meditation as this will help you get back into the flow – just like at any time in life 😉

Surrender. Sometimes we have so many wishes and expectations and sometimes we couldn’t even imagine what is actually possible for us. Trust that everything is happening for you. The more you allow yourself the moment to let go and completely relax, the more can flow to you.

To enjoy!

This article was written for you by Frida Möhres (Gong with Frida). An experienced facilitator known for her intuitive, creative and feminine gong playing that flows from the heart and opens the gates to the soul. She is a certified gong-playing teacher and will introduce you to the fascinating world of these magical instruments on our 80-hour intensive 3-month Sound Medicine Couch course – don’t miss it!
