Finding balance is not always easy. We live in a society of Push and Pull, give and take. But we often give much more away than we receive in exchange. When our sources are completely exhausted, we remain exhausted at the end of the day.
Many people would respond by saying something like:
- “I am a parent. I have children and a husband who is financially and emotionally dependent on me.”
- “I don’t have time for myself yet. I will get older as soon as the children.”
- “My work is crazy, but I will relax as soon as my busy season is calm.”
Have you said one of the above statements at a certain time in your life? Most of us have.
Of course, some seasons of life are busier than others. Parents juggle their own jobs and home responsibilities in addition to those of their children’s sports schedules, homework, social dramas, etc. Those without school-going children juggle other types of challenges.
Regardless of the emotional or physical obstacles that you are confronted with, one thing is certain – you have to make time for yourself – now, even if – especially if – you have as if you don’t have time to save.
Health trusts in balance.
Balance is based on peace.
Peace comes from within.
