In part 1 of our series about heart harmony, grandmaster Nan Lu encouraged us to think about someone or something that we love deeply, and to experience the physical feelings that love us – body, mind and mind. He then discussed the ability of the body to remember love at a deep cellular level and to return to those feelings in times of sorrow. In our second segment we learn the overwhelming power of love and how we can use love to heal.
Think back when you were 5 years old. What do you remember? Was it your first ice horn or the hand of your grandmother on your shoulder? Maybe it was the face of the first friend you made in kindergarten. Although it might just be a transient feeling, it is probably a warm and loving one.
What other memories do you hold? Some, such as those from your early childhood, take you back to sweeter, simpler times and help you remind people or places that are no longer with us. But others are painful and stop us from living our lives to our full potential.
How is it possible that memories can still be with us from so long ago? Everything in life is energy. Love is energy. Whether it is visible or invisible, these memories become part of the fibers that make us who we are. Every cell in our body has a memory of love at the highest level. By using that love helps us to access the king of all organs – the heart.
With your heart you can go beyond your mind to connect to your mind. So use love. Let it help you open a path to your heart.
Love can heal just about anything, including physical pain. What is your first tendency if you have migraine headache or pain of arthritis? Probably to take an aspirin. Close your eyes instead. Think of this feeling of love and use the power of this love to help you change your life. Send love to your head to cure your migraine, or to your joints to cure your arthritis.
Love is infinite! Keep growing it as the ocean waves. Use it to heal your pain, your sadness, your physical pain and to deepen your relationship with yourself. Replace your painful memories with warm memories of loving moments. Begin to feel the pain and sorrow drip and replace that emptiness instead with a loving smile.
Instead of concentrating on negativity, you take care of the summer care for yourself. Leave love and peace and use love in everything you do. Spread love like a running fire around you. Soon you will start to feel that your walls are coming down and your heart starts to bloom.
But remember …
If you want to heal someone, you must heal yourself first.
If you want to love someone, you must first love yourself.
You can only give to someone what you have.
The more you have, the more you can give.
