Paula’s Story: The Power of Xiao Dao in Healing Practice

As an artist, well-being and creativity coach and many years a student of Wu Ming Qigong tells Paula how Xiao Dao offers her clients a unique and trusted way to activate vibrant health and creative self-expression.

Trust the process

I have long felt a connection between health problems and blocked self-expression. Many of my clients are literally and figuratively stuck. People who cannot raise their arms above their shoulders, others who can barely turn their neck. They report constipation, migraines, stiff fingers and cold feet.

They just can’t seem to get in the direction of their dreams. Nothing works. All those self-help books, all those small-step strategies, all that talk about trusting the process.

During my Xiao Dao training, I knew deep down that I had been given a process I could rely on. I couldn’t wait to integrate the Xiao Dao framework into my practice. Grandmaster Nan Lu asked us to experience Xiao Dao for ourselves. I followed the four-part protocol for six weeks. As the weeks passed, I felt a lightness of spirit that I had never known. I even started working again on a manuscript that I had buried in a computer file for years.

The healing power of energy

My clients now experience what happens when energy flow returns in both the physical and invisible realms of the creative mind. As they open up to richer structured conversations about energy, their beliefs, dreams, ambitions and intentions, I sense a growing confidence in this process as a key to better health and self-expression. A customer with migraine suspects that her current series of paintings is too calculated. Another, who can’t stand the rift in the bedroom with her husband, is enthusiastic about creating a bridge by bringing more sensuality into their relationship.

Clients can now play with their dream images, metaphors, intuitive hits and messages behind the symptoms. What could be grabbing that stuck shoulder? What lies beneath those cold feet? As clients develop a deeper trust in the power of energy to reveal and heal, life becomes exciting – a safe, loving space to take action, to move in the direction of their dreams, and to risk sharing their creative sparks with the world.

Upcoming VIRTUAL Xiao Dao Workshop: Free
