As we step into this new year, we are reminded of this the power of intention: the silent inner compass that guides our thoughts, actions and the energy we bring into the world. Before the pace of the year picks up speed, this is our time to do so pause, breathe and choose how we want to appear for ourselves, our loved ones and our communities.
Sound Healing Offers a beautiful doorway in this practice. Whether it’s a few keynotes in the morning, a soothing singing bowl before bed, or a moment of recalibration in the afternoon: integrating sound into our daily rituals helps us stay centered, candid, and attuned to what matters most.
This month, we invite you to set an intention that suits youa feeling, a vision, or a soft whisper that you are willing to honor. As you cultivate this inner energy, we encourage you to do the same share it outside through kindness, presence and the healing vibrations you bring to your circles.

Welcome from Victoria White, our newest assistant teacher!

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Victoria as the newest Associate Teacher at The Sound Healing Academy!
However, sometimes we need some extra support. When a friend told me about a sound bath in 2023, I knew I had to explore it further! The experience put me in a state of deep relaxation. I loved the variety of sounds and was curious about what was being played and how. I was particularly drawn to the gong and spoke to the teacher afterwards, knowing it was something I wanted to learn.
That same year I enrolled in a Level 1 Sound Healing Training Workshop in Birmingham at The Sound Healing Academy. After completing this, I traveled to Brighton for my Level 2 diploma. Eager to continue, I started organizing sound baths at home for friends and now I regularly organize sound baths in my local community!
I I am very grateful to The Sound Healing Academy for the opportunity to become an Associate Teacher. I’m incredibly excited about the future and about sharing my journey with music and sound with others in the UK.”

Kayce recently spent time at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee, exploring the acoustics, weaving through the score and working with the team to shape what is becoming. a truly magical journey on Sunday, Januari 4th.
The energy building around this event is incredible, and we are honored to see her bring her gifts to such a powerful space. This will be a sound immersion like most audiences have never experienced: live ambient vocals, crystal singing bowls, meditative soundscapes and the resonance of LIVE symphony musicians filling the room with depth and vibration.

Healing from Within: The Story of Jenna Tremblay

At The Sound Healing Academy we talk about it often the transformative power of sound…but that’s what it is the lived experiences of our students that truly bring this work to life.
Jenna’s journey is a powerful memory that sound healing is not just a practice or a modality, but a deeply supportive companion during life’s most challenging moments. Her story is living proof of how Sound can support the nervous system, nurture self-love and open a path to deep healing and inner alignment.
“My journey to healthy healing started as a personal quest to understand my place in the world, but in 2024 it became a lifeline.
After being diagnosed with Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia and faced with the possibility of brain surgery, I felt deeply compelled to explore additional therapies.
Sound healing naturally found its way into my practice, and daily sound baths supported not only my physical recovery, but also deep healing around self-love and nervous system regulation.
Sound has become an essential daily ritual and a true friend when my system goes into survival mode. It brings me back into balance and creates the internal environment necessary for recovery and healing.
Through my training at The Sound Healing Academy, I have already begun sharing sound with friends and family and witnessing how it invites silence, self-focus and meaningful change.

A gentle intention-setting practice

As we enter a new cycle, this is the case a beautiful moment to pause, soften and listen within. Setting an intention doesn’t have to be grand or elaborate; it just has to be true.
And then we combine it with healing soundthe experience becomes even more grounding, embodied and resonant. Here’s a gentle exercise you can try:
1. Find a quiet moment
Sit or lie down in a comfortable place. Allow your breathing to slow down and fully enter your body.
2. Choose your sound
You can ring a singing bowl, hum softly, tap a tuning fork, play a favorite song…
Choose the sound that helps your body relax and your mind soothe.
3. Keep your intention in your heart, not in your head
Instead of forcing words, let a feeling or a simple sentence arise:
“I welcome calm.”
“I choose compassion.”
“I am open to joy.”
Let it be gentle.
4. Let the sound carry it
Play your sound slowly and attentively. Imagine your intention moving through the vibration, as if it were woven into your energy field, your breath, your body.
5. Seal it
Place a hand on your chest or stomach for a moment of gratitude.
No rush. Just presence.
And if this practice brings you peace or clarity, consider sharing it with someone you care about. A partner, a friend, a family member… Sound has a beautiful way of connecting us, soothing us and keeping us together.
