Trust Your Body

Now take a moment and check in with yourself. Do you trust your body? Do you trust that this physical vessel you are currently in can heal itself? Take it slow for a moment and really ask yourself: Are you dependent on the ‘experts’ around you to heal you or are you able to listen to your body’s signals and support the body in its healing process?

The body you are in is so wise, smart and strong. You may not be feeling that way right now, but you may be experiencing health issues that are beyond anyone’s understanding. You may be experiencing discomfort that goes back years, but this body got you here and it’s time to celebrate that fact. You are here. You are alive and this body is your vehicle in this life. Congratulations.

Now I challenge you to look at the possibility that your body can heal itself and that your body has not failed you in this life. Your body is trying to communicate with you and if you’ve been following the cultural norms of going outside of yourself for help instead of looking within, it may be time to change.

  • How do you learn to trust the body?
  • Believe that the body can heal itself
  • Know without a doubt that the body is there to enjoy life
  • Increase the joy in your life
  • Give the body nourishing food, supplements and kindness
  • Create a support network

Feeling overwhelmed by that list? Be quiet and ask what your body needs right now. Which of the five points affects you at the deepest level? Give yourself the power to make a choice, make it happen and move on. Most people won’t do this. Moving from trusting external sources to trusting yourself is a tough path and only you can do it. Have fun and enjoy the ride!
