Breast cancer, like all other forms of disease, is an energetic imbalance. To be balanced, energy – or Qi – must flow freely through pathways called meridians. Meridians contain information that allows the five major organ systems – the liver, heart, spleen, lungs and kidneys – to work together and help you achieve the best possible health. When Qi is trapped and unable to move, it leads to physical conditions that we experience on or in our bodies.
When we view everything as energy, we open ourselves up to unlimited possibilities. A diagnosis is then a way of saying that your energy is stuck, not moving or out of balance. This age-old insight takes away the fear that is so often part of modern diagnosis and replaces it with options for healing. Healing comes from within, not from the outside in.
So what causes energetic imbalances? In many cases, our emotions and hectic lifestyles confuse our bodies. When you become aware of your environment and how you relate to your job, family, and beliefs, the healing process begins.
Learning Qigong exercises is crucial. Qigong works directly at the meridian level to allow energy to move freely through the body. The poses below help move energy through the chest area. For optimal breast health, practice these two poses for 2-4 minutes daily. Once you’ve learned it, practice as long as you can.
These movements have helped women at various stages prevent and cure breast cancer.
Push out, touch the moon
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
Raise your hands to chest height and raise your fingertips.
With palms facing forward, push both hands in front of you and keep your elbows slightly bent.

Open the curtain

Raise your hands to chest level, with your fingertips pointing upward and palms facing forward.
Push your arms to a comfortable distance in front of your chest.
Slide your hands to each side and then bring them back to the center, as if you were opening and closing a curtain.
