But this is why emotions get stuck and therefore energy. This can happen primarily in the chakras, which are essentially energy centers of the body. And the first and most important principle is that these centers must be open and in constant flow. If they are not in a flow, they will accumulate energy or be depleted of it, an imbalance will occur that will cause stress in our system, like any state of disharmony. Let’s explore emotions a little deeper:

What makes us emotional?

Emotions occur in response to some type of stimulus (real, imagined, or re-experienced), such as:

  • a physical event;

  • a social interaction;

  • remembering or imagining an event;

  • talking about, thinking about, or physically reenacting a past emotional experience.

What are the six basic human emotions?

  • Fury

  • Disgust

  • Sadness

  • Luck

  • Surprise

  • Fear

They are all worth feeling. Sound can open up a space for us to be with and accept these emotions. Only by accepting them can we transform them and not let them control our lives.
