As the early days of spring remain firm and cold, you may want to try to put some extra singing in your diet through warming herbs. There is a certain spice mixture that is not only perfect for this time of the year, but also fits well with a sweet scale. I recommend mixing a party of this to keep in a small shak at the stove. I often add this to oatmeal, stewed apples, chips or grain grains. The air is the limit.

The three herbs in this blend are cinnamon, cardamom and ginger. All three are small powerhouses who pack a pretty blow.

Cinnamonor twist Sanskrit is full of healing properties. It has become popular lately because it is thought that it helps to regulate blood sugar levels. Together with ginger, cinnamon is often called universal medicine. It helps to stimulate blood circulation and is a great addition during seasonal disease, because it is a mucus (that is, it knew mucus from the airways) and diaphragmatic (it increases perspiration). This herb relieves muscle tension, say after a day of hard exercise. Cinnamon is stimulating, strengthens the heart and increases the digestive fire. Finally, despite heating, is cinnamon Tri doshicOr good for all body types.

Cardamomor Ela In Sanskrit, one of the safest digestion stimulates. Just like Cinnamon, Kardemom also makes the digestive fire. It can help to simulate the mind. Cardemom is a wonderful herb to use if you have stomach complaints. Finally, Cardemom can remove excess (or kapha) from the lungs and the stomach.

The beautiful rhizome Ginger is the last addition to complete this sweet spice mix. Ginger is phenomenal in supporting a healthy immune response. It is often used for indigestion and nausea (many pregnant women resort to this gem to combat morning sickness). Moreover, ginger can help to re -experience gas and cramps, including menstrual cramps. It is said that ginger can be powerful medicine for heart disease. And because of the stimulating action, you can notice that ginger helps relieve headaches. Just like the other two herbs, Ginger also stimulates digestion and increases the digestive fire.

The lists of benefits only continue. So why don’t you add anything of this spice mix to your diet? Like I said, make a batch and have it at hand when the mood strikes. It is good for cinnamon toast, grains or even ice cream. Here you can read how you can make it.
