The Promise of Tomorrow – TCM World

How often do you detract from something because it is not the right time, or are you too afraid of the consequences? Fear is a powerful energy. It can prepare you for a “fight or flight” immediately. Although fear can be paralyzing itself, it can also act as a nagging presence that you constantly attract, even if you try to chase it away.

Fear serves different purposes at different times in our lives. A healthy amount of fear can keep children and teenagers safe, so that they develop a consciousness of the world around them and learn well in error. But as we grow into adults, purt often fear our creativity and we prevent us from exploring new opportunities. Some can even say that fear prevents them from living.

One of the grounding principles of TCM is the idea that in nature tomorrow will always be promised. Trees are not afraid of an imminent storm and are worried that they will lose branches. Flowers do not stop blooming out of fear that the wind can blow away their petals. Nature knows that, regardless of what is happening today, tomorrow will always come.

If people make social progress feel as if nature is only a small part of our lives, while in fact we are just as much of nature as the trees, birds and flowers. Tomorrow will also be promised for you. It may look different than today, but it is a new chance to start over – another chance to see life from a brand new perspective.
