(Feature Impact) In those precious few minutes between waking up and going out or coming home after school pick-up, the pantry is a common destination. If you’re looking for a grab-and-go lunch, send your student off with a bite of protein, or are looking for an afternoon snack, you can scour the shelves for a go-to solution.
With snackers becoming more aware of what they’re putting into their bodies, you’re not alone if you’re looking for a snacking shakeup. In fact, in a recent survey conducted by Bumble Bee Seafoods and FleishmanHillard’s TRUE Global Intelligence, 50% of Americans agreed that it is difficult to find snacks that meet all their needs. According to the research, people are looking for foods that provide:
- “Value for money” (78%)
- Affordability (61%)
- Protein Packed (51%)
- Meeting specific nutrition goals (48%)
- Easy to eat on the go (35%)
However, of all the factors, 70% say good taste is the most important, proving that taste remains the biggest driver when snacking.
Answering the demand for powerful snacks that do it all and taste great at the same time, Bumble Bee Snackers’ easy-open cans shake up snack time with a variety of bold flavors that are perfect for any time, place, budget or need.
The range of unique flavors can be eaten straight from the tin and are perfect for snacking, from zesty Lemon Pepper to bold and savory Hickory Smoke, palate-tingling Sweet Heat, spicy Thai Chili and nostalgic Tuna Salad, while traditionalists can opt for classic Chunk Light Tuna.
“Snacking has evolved,” said Dana Kowal, senior director of brand marketing and corporate affairs at Bumble Bee Seafoods. “People want it all: bold flavor, real protein and grab-and-go simplicity – and they want it at a price that makes sense.”
The 3-ounce cans are premixed and can be enjoyed straight from the can, combined with crackers or veggies, or tossed into salads, sandwiches or wraps.
