Every month we have the opportunity to experience the intensity of Universal Qi. It’s right there, strong and bright in the night sky. The full moon reminds us of our powerful presence and our eternal connection to the Universal. Tapping into that power and beauty not only intensifies our own, but also gives us the ability to recharge, refresh and renew. This month’s display – and the last of 2023 – will hit the sky on December 26 at 7:33 PM EST. The moon will appear full for three days before reaching its zenith, so you can look out on Christmas Day and enjoy a beautiful gift from the sky.
Although December’s full moon is commonly called the Cold Moon, it is also called the Long Night Moon. This full moon occurs just a few days after the winter solstice, which heralds the longest night of the year and the official first day of winter, and will linger for another three hours. That’s an extra boost of heavenly energy to close out 2023 and welcome a year of new beginnings. 2024 is also the Year of the Dragon – what power and intensity to start the new year!
You create your own reality. What do you want to achieve in 2024?
Join our virtual December Full Moon exercise on Tuesday, December 26 at 7:30 PM EST. Imagine yourself in the moon, or better yet, imagine yourself as the full moon itself. Focus on the things you want to achieve in 2024 while holding the Qigong posture, The dragon stands between heaven and earth. Hold this position for 30 minutes, or as long as you can. Every minute you practice represents a new intention for the coming year. What power you have to create a bright, healthy and prosperous 2024!
