“The world will continue to change dramatically, but battles and wars can destroy us utterly. What we need now are techniques of harmony, not those of competition. The art of peace is required, not the art of war.”
The art of peace
“The Art of Peace starts with you. Work on yourself and your assigned task in the Art of Peace.
You are here for no other purpose than to realize your inner divinity and manifest your innate enlightenment. Encourage peace in your own life and then apply the art to everything you encounter.
Everyone has a mind that can be refined, a body that can be trained in some way, a suitable path to follow.
You don’t need buildings, money, power or status to practice the Art of Peace. Heaven is right where you stand, and that’s the place to train.
All things, material and spiritual, emanate from one Source and are connected as if they were one family. The past, present and future are all contained in the life force.
The universe emerged and evolved from one Source, and we evolved through the optimal process of unification and harmonization.
As soon as you concern yourself with the ‘good’ and ‘bad’ of your fellow human beings, you create an opening in your heart for malice to enter. Testing, competing with, and criticizing others weakens and defeats you.
Be grateful even for hardships, setbacks and bad people. Dealing with such obstacles is an essential part of training in the Art of Peace.
If your opponent strikes with fire, counter with water so that it becomes completely liquid and free-flowing. Water by its nature never collides or breaks against anything. On the contrary, it harmlessly swallows every attack.
With our techniques we fully respond to an attack, we fully engage with it and we control it firmly. Power lies where one’s ki (life force) is concentrated and stable; confusion and malevolence arise when ki becomes stagnant.
In the Art of Peace we never attack. A seizure is proof that someone has lost control. Never run away from any challenge, but don’t try to unnaturally suppress or control an opponent.
Techniques utilize four qualities that reflect the nature of our world. Depending on the circumstances, you have to be as hard as a diamond, flexible as a willow, smooth-flowing as water or as empty as space.
The Art of Peace is the principle of no resistance. The Art of Peace is invincible because it struggles with nothing.
Let attackers come as they please and then mingle with them. Never go after opponents. Redirect every attack and stand firmly behind it. Your mind is the true shield.
The Art of Peace is a medicine for a sick world. There is evil and disorder in the world because people have forgotten that all things come from one Source.
Return to that Source and abandon all self-centered thoughts, petty desires and anger. Those who are possessed of nothing possess everything.
Instructors can only convey a fraction of the teaching. It is through your own dedicated practice that the mysteries of the Art of Peace are brought to life.”
