Therapeutic Breathwork is more than just your daily breathing or breathing a little deeper; it is a sequence of different breathing techniques and breath holds, guided by a facilitator, who holds space and takes you along on the journey. The different styles of this type of therapeutic breathwork also vary. The style I use to help you create change emotionally and physically is to engage your system in both the sympathetic and parasmpathic nervous systems. This allows you to safely release old emotions that are stuck in the somatics, experience fuller and wider breathing as soon as you leave the session and experience a feeling of relaxation.
