Urticaria refers to a rash in which bumps suddenly appear on the skin known as welts or welts. Urticaria, also known as hives or hives, consists of several types. One of these is cholinergic urticaria, which refers to urticaria caused when the body becomes warm and the body temperature rises due to exercise, in a warm room or in hot weather, or through sweating. It is also called heat bumps or heat bumps. Exercise is the most common of all triggers for this type of urticaria. Other triggers for this type of urticaria include bathing with hot water, fever, exposure to the heat of the sun, being near a stove, stress, nervousness, anxiety, being angry, spicy or hot food, and alcohol consumption. The exact reason behind this type of urticaria is not yet clear. But it is believed that it may arise from an allergic reaction. In this condition, the body overreacts to heat and sweat. Heat and sweat, along with the release of histamine, cause reactions. Although it can affect both men and women, it is relatively more common in men. A person who already suffers from an allergic condition such as hay fever (allergic rhinitis), asthma, eczema or urticaria due to some other cause (such as eating certain foods, pressure on the skin) is at high risk of developing cholinergic urticaria.
Homeopathic treatment
Homeopathy is very effective in treating cholinergic urticaria. These drugs are completely safe to use as they are prepared from naturally occurring substances and have no side effects. They help a lot in healing the stretch marks. In addition, the itching, burning and stinging sensation is well controlled with these medications. After acutely controlling the condition, homeopathic medicines gradually work to overcome the tendency for recurrence of this type of urticaria. For this, homeopathic treatment must be continued for several months, depending on the duration and intensity of the case. Homeopathic medicines are selected for each individual case based on the symptom presentation, so the homeopathic prescription varies from case to case. It is advised to use homeopathic medicines only under the supervision of a homeopathic doctor. Homeopathic medicines are recommended only for mild to moderate cases of cholinergic urticaria. Homeopathy has limitations in treating severe cases of urticaria and the serious condition anaphylaxis. So in cases of severe intensity and where signs of anaphylaxis are present, it is advised to seek immediate help from the conventional method of treatment.

Signs and symptoms
In cholinergic urticaria, small (between 1 – 5 mm) bumps appear on the skin surrounded by circles called wheals. The bumps can be skin-colored or red. These may turn white when pressed. Itching, stinging, tingling or burning sensation may occur. Although the bumps can appear on any part of the body, they are more common on the face, chest, arms and upper back. The palms of the hands, soles of the feet and armpits are never affected. The hives can develop within 5-6 minutes of exposure to the trigger and can last from half an hour to about two hours. This condition can range from mild to severe and requires immediate medical attention. Some of the symptoms of a serious condition (called anaphylaxis) include hives that cover the entire body, along with other symptoms such as swelling in the deep layers of the skin, swelling in the throat or of the tongue. This condition can block the airways and cause airway contraction, causing breathing difficulties, wheezing, weak and rapid pulse, dizziness and low blood pressure. When any of these serious symptoms are felt, it is advised to seek medical attention immediately as they indicate a life-threatening condition called anaphylaxis.
