Fresh, halibut, grilled and served, with vegetables

When you flares up the grill this summer, you may immediately think of some of your summer go-tos: grilled hamburgers and brats. If you are looking for a healthier option, consider this grilled halibut recipe. Simple, easy and fast, it is a great option on week night, but is so delicious that you can also give it up with your next grill-out with friends.

Health benefits of Halbot

Halbot is not as rich in omega-3s as salmon, but is still a good source of these healthy fats. Omega-3 fatty acids are anti-inflammatory, which reduces your risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, dementia and type 2 diabetes. It also offers a long list of minerals and vitamins, such as selenium, phosphorus, magnesium and B vitamins. The SE -Micronutrients support the health of the brain, a healthy heart, thyroid function and the repair of damaged cells.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons darling
  • 1/2 lemon juic
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 2 clove garlic minced meat
  • 1 pound of fresh halibut fillet

Route description:

  1. Combine the butter, honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, pepper and garlic in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Share your halibut by cutting it with a sharp knife in 3 or 4 pieces. A portion size of fish is 3 to 6 oz, so a part depends on the specific size of our fillet. Brush both sides of each with the liquid mixture.
  3. Heat the grill until hot is hot (a drop of water hisses and evaporates immediately when it touches the grill). Share the halibut for 90 seconds on each side. Place the fire point until medium and cook each side for 2-3 minutes, until the fish can easily be flocked with a fork.
