Fish oil has omega-3 fatty acids mainly in triglyceride or ethylester forms, while the omega-3s of krill oil are in phospholipide form. Research suggests that the phospholipide form is more organic available, more immediately absorbed and used by your body.
- Taste: This may seem a bit obvious, but the two supplements often taste different. Fish oil supplements can leave a fish -like aftertaste and even lead to uncomfortable attacks of acid reflux. Krill Oil, on the other hand, is derived from small, shrimp -like shellfish, no fish, and does not taste like fishing, especially in high -quality products.
