WishGarden is committed to giving to those who give so much and risk so much to be on the front lines during the pandemic crisis. Their most recent outreach efforts focused on retail partners, who are courageously showing up to work during the pandemic to ensure we all have the food and essentials we need.
This past week, WishGarden sent gift baskets containing Peaceful Protector, a newly developed artisan cleansing hand spray, to retail partners to thank them for their efforts during the pandemic. “During these challenging times, we have made it our priority to stand up as a community in support of each other, and do as much as we can to alleviate the stress and toll it is taking on so many,” said Catherine Hunziker, president and chief Compiler of WishGarden Herbs.
“The natural products industry has a long tradition of leading the way in supporting a healthy community. And to that end, our retail partners have continued to fulfill that mission every day in wellness departments across the country during this pandemic. In deep gratitude, WishGarden has developed a natural hand cleansing spray called Peaceful Protector, which we will gift to them as a small token of our appreciation.”
Delivering gift baskets of gratitude
Select WishGarden representatives were able to deliver gift baskets directly to their top retail partner.
Jamie McKeown is the regional sales representative and educator for the Los Angeles Metro and Central Coast region and she chose to personally deliver a gift basket to Erewhon in Beverly Hills.
“Erewhon has always been one of our best accounts and has been very supportive of WishGarden. Lorenzo, the Nutrition Department Manager, does a great job running the department and keeping his team motivated. His team is always my favorite to train because they being so curious and excited to learn more about natural remedies,” Jamie said. “He was super grateful for the support and thoughtfulness shown to him and his staff, who are all working so hard and coping with the stress of the pandemic.”
Dr. Shawn Manske, the Territory Accounts Manager and Educator, chose to personally deliver the packages to Sprouts in Parker, CO.
“Bernie is one of my favorite vitamin department managers that I visit. I always enjoy our conversations, and she really loves and supports WishGarden in her store. It is such a pleasure to work with her, she always has a smile on her face,” said Dr. Shawn. “She reported that she and her husband have both been diligently using their WishGarden formulas: Deep Lung, Kick-Ass Sinus and Kick-Ass Immune.”
Formulation and botanical selection
The WishGarden team was excited about the formulation process and selecting the perfect essential oil blend. “This was an all-hands effort to develop a high-quality natural cleanser that combines essential oils with skin-friendly ingredients so quickly. I am so proud of how quickly this all came together,” said Hunziker.
Featured in Peaceful Protector are the following oils:
Pine is a classic essential oil used in many popular cleaning products. Anyone who has ever walked through a pine forest knows that there are not many words to describe the intense and magical aroma of pine resin. It is a safe yet powerful ally in maintaining a healthy microbial balance and keeping away unwanted, invisible pests.
German Chamomile has been used for thousands of years and is known for its ability to soothe frazzled nerves and irritated skin. It is a gentle herb, perfect for adults and children.
Lavender is a well-known mood-enhancing herb that is useful in promoting a healthy sleep cycle and calming worried minds. Topically, lavender is useful as a natural cleanser and for stimulating a healthy inflammatory response.
