Lots of people at home and out of action, so I wanted to do this blog to support those who want to know what they can do for their immune system this time.
Immunity support
Immune boost– a combination of homeopathic nosodes and homeophylaxis remedies to support the immune system.
I also added some Bach flowers for the mental-emotional side (these only work when necessary, unlike homeopathic remedies, which allows you to prove them, that’s why I used Bach flowers)
Vitamin D– If you have nothing else, take vitamin D, remember that some people have been given DNA cuts that prevent the normal vitamin D supplement from being absorbed, so make sure you get the activated form or sunshine. If you want to read more about vitamin D and the respiratory system, check out my previous blog.
Vitamin C – You can go wrong if you take vitamin C for immunity, before and while increasing the dose when you are sick.
Children 500 mg to 1000 mg per day
Adults 1000 mg per day
Double the dose for children who are sick and triple it for adults
Zinc – Be careful not to take too high doses if you are deficient in zinc, as you will not feel alone if you are not feeling well.
Maritime pine – 30 drops per day support lung health and are antiviral. The French pine bark extract PycnogenolⓇ has demonstrated anti-inflammatory, vascular and endothelial protective effects in more than 90 human clinical trials.
NAC– N-acetylcysteine (NAC), a precursor to the antioxidant glutathione, is used to loosen thick mucus in the lungs. However, NAC can also strengthen the immune system, suppress viral replication and reduce inflammation. For adults 1000 mg per day
Elderberry – A great immune herb for the lungs and viruses.

Match the symptom picture with the remedy
Ferrum phos: First remedy you can think of at the onset of an illness with heat, fever, earache or just a general feeling of being unwell. The symptoms are vague and don’t seem to fit the picture of any drug. People who catch cold easily and are prone to chest problems. May be useful early in the runny nose phase.
Arsenicum album: Burning discharge from a runny nose, burning diarrhea, burning sore throat, etc. Cold, headache, sinusitis, can’t sleep, feels worse from midnight to 2am. The symptoms seem out of proportion to the disease: they are restless; weak; stretched; feeling terrible and saying things like “I’m dying” when all they seem to have is a burning runny nose and the beginnings of an illness; fussy and hard to please; very thirsty for frequent sips; they don’t want cold food and drinks.
Hepar sulph: Is an early remedy for sore throat with pain spreading to the ear, splinter-like pain (anywhere), like a fishbone or a pin. Is a follow-up remedy when the stage of thick, productive cough has been reached. Inflammation that slowly goes away – ears, cold in the chest. Hypersensitivity is a key concept. Angry, irritable – very difficult when you are sick. Cold. Better: warmth, wrapping.
Phosphorus: Itchy throat. Hoarseness and a tickling cough that hurts the throat, or a cold that quickly spreads to the chest. The person may feel heavy or oppressive. A thirst for cold drinks (which can cause nausea after warming in the stomach). Cough, cold. Stretched. Better: after sleeping, cold drinks, massage, company. Worse: cold, change in weather, thunder, being alone.
Gelsemium: Feels so tired that they can barely lift their head from the bed; generally the whole body feels heavy and weak. Drowsiness with heavy, drooping eyelids. Shaking, chills and heat up and down the spine, flu symptoms with sore muscles. Jittery with frequent urination or diarrhea. Symptoms after shock or fear. They are worse in this humid weather.
Rhus tox: Many people have said that this remedy was so good for the topic at hand, but a 30c will have to be repeated often and higher potencies seem to be very useful. Back pain, hot, painful swelling of the joints, painful joints, worse on first movement, better once it gets going. Cold sores, shingles, colds and coughs. The tongue may have a triangular red tip. Worse: cold, wet weather, before the storm, at night, getting cold or wet after being warm, overexertion. Better: warmth, hot baths, exercise.
Antimony cake: When there is rattling, wet, chest breathing and it is difficult to cough anything up. It feels/sounds like they are going to choke when they cough. Drowsiness. White tongue.
Bryonia: During a headache, every movement seems to hurt, even just talking or moving the eyes. Vomiting may occur when sitting upright. Coughing is caused by speaking. Dryness in general from cough; joints; stiffness of back and neck; dry, painful cough and cold that radiate to the chest. Constipation. Grumpy and worried about business, might be better off alone. Thirst for cold drinks. Painful when breathing deeply, not good in a warm room, dry weather, movement, touch. Better: apply pressure and lie on the painful part.
Eupatorium perforatum: Classic flu remedy, similar to Bryonia with achy, bruised pain in the bones (if your muscles feel sore then you are more likely to need Gelsemium), bones feel almost like they are broken. Very thirsty.
Pulsatilla: The keynote is variable because the symptoms in the body seem to shift. Anything with a lot of mucus; thick, yellow or yellow-green or creamy. Cough dry at night and loose morning, earache, fever, styes, upset stomach. Crying, clingy, whiny when sick and longing for company. Changeable moods and symptoms. Cold, but do not like heat and stuffy rooms. Usually thirstless. Worse still: rich, fatty food, in the evening. Better: company, fresh air, cold food and drinks, after crying.
Phosphorus: Irritating, loose, dry, spasmodic cough. Coughing can be made worse by talking, laughing and exposure to cold air. The person may feel heavy or oppressive. Irritating cough. Green or yellow-green mucus. Thirst for cold drinks, which may cause vomiting. Longs for company. Irritable and sluggish when ill, apathetic, energy flares up and then drops to exhaustion. Better: after sleeping, cold drinks, massage, company. Worse: cold, change in weather, thunder, being alone.
