Every month we have the opportunity to experience the intensity of Universal Qi. It’s right there, strong and bright in the night sky. The full moon reminds us of our powerful presence and our eternal connection to the Universal. Tapping into that power and beauty not only intensifies our own, but also gives us the ability to recharge, refresh and renew. This month’s display (and the last of 2024) will hit the sky on December 15 at 4:02 a.m. EST.
Although December’s full moon is commonly called the Cold Moon, it is also called the Long Night Moon. About a week later, we celebrate the winter solstice, which marks the shortest day of the year (the longest night of the year) and the official first day of the winter season. That’s an extra boost of heavenly energy to close out 2024 and welcome a year of new beginnings.
You create your own reality. What do you want to achieve in 2024?
As the full moon rises, hold the Qigong posture, The dragon stands between heaven and earth. Imagine yourself in the moon, or better yet, imagine yourself as the full moon itself. Hold this position for 30 minutes, or as long as you are able. Every minute you practice represents a new intention for the coming year. What power you have to create a bright, healthy and prosperous 2025!
