Your body is the image of unconditional love.
When you wake up in the morning, you don’t say, “I wish there was only night.” When it snows, you don’t just hope for sunny days. Why? Each has its own special purpose that together form a whole. Without day there is no night; without winter nothing can grow in spring and summer. They are opposite and yet completely dependent on each other. And they are relative. The essential nature of something is understood only in relation to something else. This is a law of nature; this is how reality works on a very deep level.
Everything is always in balance and rebalanced to create a state of harmony. Harmony is when complementary things go beyond a state of balance and merge seamlessly into one whole: a perfect whole. This is the deeper meaning of Yin and Yang.
Disease and health: connections
When we apply this understanding to health and healing, we realize that the whole picture is disease And health, not disease or health. Without illness there can be no real healing. Traditional Chinese medicine always tries to reflect the laws of nature and create balance. Your own body can achieve harmony within itself, and then with nature and the universe around it.
TCM is a system of connections at all levels between all things. Your organs and their meridians create an interconnected and communicating system with all structures and other systems in your body. Your body, mind and soul are connected. You are part of nature and completely connected to it, so changes in nature are reflected in your body. Everything is connected to everything else; nothing exists in itself.
This miracle of connection and mutual communication is made possible by Qi. When you break down physical matter into its most essential form, it is invisible energy! Energy is power, but this is also only one side of the whole. Energy also has intelligence and function. It has the ability to transmit a message that informs and guides all things to achieve balance and maintain harmony.
Body, mind, soul
The mind is based on knowledge from past experiences, but your body is built on all the DNA codes from all your lives. You are not here on earth for the first time; you have been here for many lifetimes. If you agree that we are energy beings, and that energy cannot die or disappear – only transform – then we can say that we never die.
Your body and its DNA contain the genetic code for thousands and thousands of programs. These programs are based on the soul’s decision to choose these two specific parents at the time of conception. Once the soul makes the decision to enter this life, you automatically carry two codes: one spiritual, one physical. The DNA, or genetic code, you choose is your physical code. The spiritual code is even more important. Once you have chosen the spiritual code, the body must fulfill it; the body serves the mind. Therefore, you download not only diseases, but also the remedies for them.
Disease adaptation
The body does its best to help you achieve your goal. But if you go too far, the soul will give you adjustment, even if it comes in the form of illness. Every health problem has a purpose. If you can see the purpose of the disease, you no longer need it. If you don’t understand the purpose, it will repeat itself in some form.
Some health problems often recur or even seem untreatable. This doesn’t mean they can’t be solved, just that the timing isn’t right. You may need to meet the right person, at the right time, in the right place. Or maybe instead of focusing on the condition itself, you should focus on how you can change your body in profound ways; how you can change not just small things, but your entire life.
Look inside
Every answer you seek is within you. The more peaceful you are, the more information you learn and the more answers you get. So never doubt your body. It has genetic and spiritual wisdom; both visible and invisible wisdom merge into your own unique body, which is an image of unconditional love.
