7. Cantharis – From urinary complaints such as infection and cystitis

Cantharis is a leading drug for the treatment of pelvic pain due to urinary complaints, including an inflamed bladder or urinary tract infection. In most cases there is pain in the bladder region, accompanied by painful, burning urination. Pain and burning sensation may occur before, during or after urination. The pain gets worse if you drink even a small amount of water. In addition, there is frequent urination. The bladder area is sensitive to touch and feels heavy even with the slightest movement.

Causes of pelvic pain in women

1.PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) – It refers to an infection in the female genital organs (uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes) caused by sexually transmitted infections. It leads to vaginal discharge (leucorrhea), pain in the lower abdomen/pelvic region, painful intercourse, bleeding during intercourse, painful menstruation, bleeding between periods, fever with chills, painful urination.

2. Pain during menstruation and pain during PMS – There may be pelvic pain, mainly cramp-like pain. The pain may radiate to the lower back or thighs. Nausea and vomiting may occur. In some cases, pain may occur before menstruation begins as part of PMS (premenstrual syndrome), along with other symptoms such as breast pain, bloating, irritability, mood swings and headaches. These symptoms of PMS disappear when menstrual bleeding begins.

3. Uterine Fibroids – These are non-cancerous growths that develop in the uterus. It can cause pelvic pain, heavy periods, back pain, pain/bleeding during intercourse and bleeding between periods.

4. Endometriosis – It is a condition in which the tissue lining the uterus begins to grow in parts of the body other than the uterus, such as the ovaries, fallopian tube, rectum and urinary bladder. During menstruation, bleeding from these parts occurs. It results in pelvic pain, pain during urination or defecation, bleeding from the rectum or bladder during menstruation, pain during intercourse, heavy periods and infertility.

8. Cancer of the pelvic organs – Cancer of the uterus, cervix and ovaries can lead to pain in the pelvis and lower abdomen. Along with this vaginal discharge and painful intercourse there is. Cancer of the urinary tract can also cause pelvic pain.

9. Urinary tract problems – These include urinary tract infection (UTI), interstitial cystitis and kidney stones. UTI is quite common in women. It can affect any part of the urinary system, including urethra, bladder, ureter and kidneys, although cystitis is the most common. The symptoms of UTI are pain/burning during urination, increased frequency of urination, pelvic pain, strong odor of urine. In the case of upper tract UTI fever, a person feels chills, pain in the upper back and sides, in addition to nausea and vomiting. Interstitial cystitis refers to inflammation of the bladder for no known reason. This can lead to pelvic pain, painful urination, frequent urination and painful intercourse.
