Children know laughs. They giggle free, dance in the rain and find foolishness wherever they go. While we go through life, the lightness that we felt in childhood is replaced by responsibilities, worries and fears that often harden us to the world around us. Until we are able to see the happier and freer side of life again and to lose ourselves again in childish miracle, we skate, day to day, often forgot to laugh or even smile.
In recent weeks we have shared tips that have been learned from the snake about being flexible, going with the power and learning to let go. By releasing, we not only release our pain from the past and pent -up emotions, we allow ourselves to move forward with a lighter burden. Have you ever worried something so deeply that it has consumed you? And when you finally passed there, did your whole body respond? Afterwards your shoulders dropped a few centimeters, your facial muscles relax and you could smile. Sounds known?
We are a human. It is normal to feel emotion. By releasing emotions, however, we can be free to express the other gifts we received, such as happiness, love and that crazy belly laugh. All too often we do things because we think that we ‘have to’ or because we feel a certain expectation. But life can become way too serious. Even at the more difficult moments, you make sure you are light and free from time. See how children play and participate! Make a snow gel, dance in the rain, run zoomies with the dog or build a fort from pillows. Take the time to reconnect with the childish foolishness that you still hold in you. These small moments remind us what it means to live.
Tips to let go
- Turn in: What does it mean to really listen? Note your meetings with friends, family and colleagues. Instead of jumping in with your feedback or reactions, listen to what others are trying to convey. As you listen, your judgment will start to fade and you will see new perspectives.
- Start small: Work, at home, dinner, sleep, work: Known sounds familiar? It is easy to get stuck in a day-in-day-out pattern. Practice your flexibility by changing things little by little. For example, go for a walk during your lunch break, sing in the morning, enjoy that sticky cookie or buy flowers for yourself.
- Seeing is believing: We believe what we can see visibly. But what about the unseen? The invisible is more powerful than the visible. Start by recognizing patterns in yourself. How does your body communicate with you? Does it share the same pain and pains during every season transition? Does your knees hurt every evening around 6 p.m. These symptoms are the way of the body to share what is happening deep inside, at an invisible level. While you translate these messages and connect again with your own body, you will start seeing the complex operation of your energetic being. Outside the inner is reflected.
- Be happy. Take the time to think about the things that make you happy in life. Being happy is your true practice.
