The mind is an elusive thing. It travels between the visible and invisible. It is dynamic, moving energy, similar to electrons and positrons at the subatomic level. It is easy to see the solid physical structure that is your body in three-dimensional reality; it is quite another to see what constitutes the psychic structure of beliefs in your invisible mind.
The mind chooses what it wants to connect with, based on the beliefs it has formed. We often face the unhealthy effects of the mind without understanding the source of the emotions or feelings we are processing. How can we change this situation? The answer sounds simple, but often it is not that simple. Change your beliefs so you can change your channel! Think about it this way: when you turn on the television, you can tune in to your favorite show. You can watch the same show day in and day out or decide to watch something else. You make the choice. But when the show ends and you turn off the television, the airwaves are still there, even if you can’t see them. Different beliefs are like the ether; they are always there. What do you want to play on your own 3D screen? Which channel or belief would you like to tune into?
“We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never goes away.” -Buddha
