The Pisces personality

The sign for Pisces shows two fish swimming in opposite directions, and this symbolizes the Piscean nature. Pisces is a sign that is pulled in two directions and always tries to find balance. Pisces can sometimes seem fickle or unreliable, as they can have very different personalities from one day to the next and often change their minds. Pisces are highly intuitive and emotionally intense. They switch easily between emotional highs and lows and are easily influenced by the emotions and moods of others. They are very sensitive to the environment and must be careful where they live and who they spend their time with. Pisces are kind-hearted and will do anything to help those in need. In fact, they tend to sacrifice their own needs over those of others and will do anything to avoid conflict or hurt someone’s feelings. They are sometimes gullible and can easily be misled or used by people who take advantage of their friendly nature. They can then become depressed and disillusioned if they feel that someone has deceived them or betrayed their kindness. Pisces have a natural healing ability, which often leads them to medicine, nursing or complementary therapies. Pisces love to dream. They are very creative and artistic people and their imaginations often run wild. In fact, they sometimes have difficulty distinguishing between fantasy and reality. They tend to go with their emotions and instincts rather than their rationality and intellect. Because they often live in a dream world, they can be impractical or lazy. They may also sometimes lack confidence in themselves, which makes them loners.

Pisces love aromatic massages. They crave psychological warmth, which can be brought about by oils such as Bergamot, Jasmine and Frankincense.

Bergamot essential oil
Bergamot has a citrus aroma that is both fruity and sweet, with a warm, spicy, floral quality. It is known as ‘nature’s Prozac’ and is revered for its relaxing properties. Bergamot is a heart-warming essential oil and can help gently relieve sadness, depression and grief.

Jasmine essential oil
Jasmine is the best essential oil for instilling confidence because it is emotionally warming and uplifting. It has stimulating antidepressant properties that can help people suffering from lack of confidence, hesitation, indecisiveness and lethargy.

Frankincense essential oil
Frankincense is a valuable essential oil that slows and deepens breathing, relieving anxiety, fear, nervous tension and stress. It is deeply calming, revitalizing and uplifting.
